Rin Stanley

I'm Trinity but I prefer to go by Rin, I am 29 years old, my pronouns are they/them.  I am non-binary and pansexual.

I've been learning and doing photography since I fell in love with it in grade 10 and I continue to fall in love with it every time I pick up my camera or edit the photos I've taken.

I am a larper and have been a part of the Medieval Chaos Productions community for coming on 10 years now. If you don't know what LARP is, it's Live Action Role Play and it has been a huge part of my photography journey and my life in general. I met my now husband, whom I've been with for almost 7 years and married to for coming on 2 years as well as many of the friends that I truly see as family.  LARP and the MC community have truly helped me gain so much confidence as a person and a photographer; that it truly is strongly encouraged to be my weird, chaotic, creative self. I like to think I have firmly embraced the chaos!

To further show my nerd-ness, I also have been playing Dungeons and Dragons in my husband's campaigns that he's been running for 5 or so years now, I am a proud dice goblin and a lover of character creation!

I'll give you another little tidbit about me and my many hobbies. I have been playing softball on and off for 25 years, since I was 4 and a half years old; Pitching since I was 8.  It taught me a lot about dedication and trusting myself which has bled into my adulthood.

I've been told I have a natural talent when it comes to photography, I immensely enjoy taking photos that make people say things like "Your photos made me feel confident". I aim to take photos that compliment my subject, that help them see their beauty and gain even just a smidge more confidence in themselves. Creating photos that tell a story and immortalize important and special moments!
